Well Hey there Beautiful People!

So, Yeah, this is officially my first blog post. Yay! No, really I feel like it took me forever to finally get my thoughts on paper. But, let’s get to it! I’m sure that you are wondering who I am, so let me introduce myself. My name is Charity McGee. I am a Certified Life Coach, Author, Teacher, Motivational Speaker, Writer, Trail Blazer, Daughter, Sister, Mother, Friend, Founder and CEO of N-Spired Kingdom Coaching services, which is a coaching business whose mission is to help individuals and families of African American descent heal and reach their goals, and lastly, I am a lover of all things Chocolate!

However, more importantly I am a woman, a black woman who is passionate about building and uplifting other black men and women so that we can Restore, Empower and Transform our lives, in order to enrich and strengthen our individual and family experiences. As people of color, we have been at the bottom of the barrel in every category in life financially, educationally, physically and relationally. The Black narrative has always been told from a place of slavery, oppression, deprivation, and humiliation. Images circling on t.v. and social media further perpetuate that narrative with negative and often stereotypical dogma.

Because of these narratives many of us have struggled with self-hate and battling the person that we see on the other side of the mirror. This blog and the N-Spired movement seeks to help change that narrative and to help breathe life and love back into our black men and women and into our families. I too was once that girl who hated the way I looked. I thought that my skin was too dark. My hair was too nappy. I wasn’t a desirable partner because the narrative was that my kind was loud, un-submissive, ghetto and only worthy of a good lay.

However, through spiritual guidance, some self-work, inner healing and a little coaching, I was able to overcome and love the woman that I see today. It is my goal that through my experiences and testimonies I can help others to do the same. So, here I am ready to take this journey and if you are someone like me who is ready to take it to the next level and transform your life and the lives of your loved ones around you, I encourage you to be N-Spired with me!
